Snacked

Snap it.
Say it. Done.

The food journal that does the counting for you. Snap your plate, say what you ate or scan the label, and Snacked works out the portions, calories and macros.

Free for 3 days, then €2.99 a month or €14.99 a year.

Three iPhones show Snacked: the meal timeline with today's calories, a salmon poke bowl being analysed, and a spoken meal turned into ingredients.

Snap

Snap your plate

Take a photo and Snacked sees what is on it. It measures portions against your plate, bowl and cutlery, counts every piece and adds the calories, protein, carbs and fat.

  • Portions, measured

Plates, bowls, glasses, cans, cutlery and even your hand set the scale. Pile height counts too.

  • Every piece counted

Pieces are counted one by one and labels in the shot are read, so five slices are five slices.

  • Your photo, in your journal

The meal lands on your timeline with the picture you took, and every meal shows how Snacked estimated it.

Say

“Two boiled eggs, a slice of sourdough with avocado and a flat white.”

Say it the way you would tell a friend.

Or just say it

Tell Snacked what you ate, in your own words and in your own language. Fillers and second thoughts are fine, and seconds later it is a complete meal.

Scan

Scan the label

Point the camera at a barcode and Snacked finds the exact product, with its official label values and its own photo. Brands are matched by name too, so a bottle is always the real size.

  • Label values from Open Food Facts

Matched products carry the scan mark and link to their page on Open Food Facts, the open food database.

  • Only a confident match

The brand has to fit, words like zero or light have to agree and the label has to add up. Otherwise Snacked keeps its own estimate.

Change

Change anything

Hold a meal and type what changed, like “I had 2” or “it was 500 ml”. Snacked updates the whole meal at once, ready to save over the old one.

  • Every number, by hand

Tap calories, protein, carbs or fat and slide it, with a tick on every step.

  • Portions on a dial

Turn the servings from ¼ to 10 and every ingredient scales with it.

  • Copy to any day

Had it again? Copy a meal to another day from inside the meal.

Portions decide accuracy, so Snacked measures them against what it can see: plates, bowls, glasses, cans, cutlery and hands. It counts pieces one by one and reads labels. Packaged products use their official label values from Open Food Facts when the match is confident.

It is still an estimate, and every meal shows how it was judged. Tap any number to change it, or hold the meal and type what changed.

The app is in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Arabic, Hindi and Indonesian.
